It's time that people stop being defeatist about the prospect of Impeachment.
I enjoyed this article quite a bit (as well as the name of his blog :) ).
The concept of impeaching this president (and vice-president -- it can't be just one) is not firmly outside the mainstream. It's a movement that's gaining momentum, and those who are able to do something about it need to be pushed to action. As long as everyone believes it's not going to happen, then it's not going to happen. But think about it -- we need to get this administration out of office before things get worse than they are.
I completely fail to understand how it was perfectly acceptable that Clinton was impeached (and the grounds on which that impeachment were built were not considered a complete joke), meanwhile it's somehow unacceptable to unseat this dictatorial government that has a proven track record of believing itself to be above the law, unaccountable, and infallible.
And I say this as someone who does not, nor will not, have any children who will be responsible for cleaning up this mess. I don't understand how parents of children (of any age, really) are not up in arms to stop this administration before it's completely tanked any hope of a bright future for their children.
Stand up for your country, people! Seriously!
