How about when he says “This is Grande” in the most bored, monotone voice…
…that one always gets me.
Chris: they re-did the voices last year. He says the cross streets. Now he says “Grand and State”
I wonder if anybody ever hears that “this is a red line…” announcement and is surprised.
Well that’s a bummer… I guess it’s been awhile since I’ve been on the red line :-/
I need to pay attention on the southbound trains. My hope, though I’m sure it’s not the case, is that the announcement is “This is a Red Line train to Dan Ryan.”
Then I could be happy, know that Howard and Dan Ryan are important enough to have their perceptions of things announced on the subway.
