We’re in Amsterdam. Trip’s going well, just some minor snags.

  1. I somehow messed up my foot, so my right foot is swollen and sore. Not sure what’s going on, but am just gonna wince through it for now.
  2. Train schedule from Dusseldorf to Amsterdam was changed from what I had, so we sat around waiting for a train for 3 hours on Friday.
  3. I caught a cold. Dunno how that happened.
  4. Due to going basically over 24 hours without sleep, we crashed hard last night. Slept for 18 hours, basically, which means we woke up today around 3 in the afternoon local time. It will abbreviate our stay in the city some, but we’ve adjusted the schedule to accomodate it.

Amsterdam is great. We’re staying in a little house boat in the southwest side of the city. Quick walk to the metro, a subway, quick ride to the center of the city. We’re exploring the central and west sides tonight.� Tomorrow we do the touristy things like the museums and the Anne Frank House.
