Plane drama
Seems there’s a medical emergency on this flight. About mid-plane (I’m
in the back) someone’s laying in the aisle with a doctor examining him.
They just took the medical kit forward.
Based on what I heard, he’s suffering from seizures.
It doesn’t sound like we’ll be diverted. I heard a flight attendent
talking to the pilots on the intercom say something about meeting the
plane in Chicago.
Just heard pilot talk to Air Traffic Control, saying we’ll be going on
to Chicago, and having EMTs meet the plane at O’Hare.
I did just hear them talk about a difibrulator just now — something
about ‘just in case’ and ‘monitoring heartrate.’
Very tense planeload of people here.
